1. Natural competition of two species accentuates the fact that two members of the same species could not exist and survive in the same environment. This simple concept, which has been apparent far before any type of management or strategy theory was introduced, shows that a unique advantage over a competitor is essential to survive. In the field of business management, the ability of planning, setting goals, establishing priorities and managing resources are the cores aspects required to succeed. The vast majority of managerial decisions are based on the strategy, which serves as the differentiator and accelerator in natural competition.
In order to stay afloat, strategic management requires understanding of the environment and behavior of the competitors, forecasting the changes in the market and do all of this with supreme understanding of what the risks involved are.
