A beginning critical thinker is a person that realizes that they have problems in their thinking and make the attempt to understand and improve their thinking skills. Once this happens a beginning critical thinker will start to change or modify the way that they think, but will still have trouble because they cannot grasp the concept of thinking in a deeper more in depth manner. They normally understand what problems exist in their thinking and now wan to actively begin changing regularly. Even though they are learning and have the basic skill to think critically, an average thinker is still not advanced enough to think deep enough in to for advanced levels of thought. Typically an average thinker is normally for self absorbed then willing to think in a broader spectrum. Although they have the willingness and understanding to know that they need to start expanding their thought process. In a way an average thinker is always practicing.
An advanced thinker is when you are able to use critical thinking almost all the time. You are able to actively use critical thinking in most parts of your life. They also have the ability to go deeper into thought. Although they are advance they still can be one-sided or egotistical on issues, but are still able to be two sided or fair natured with themselves and others. Advanced thinkers also understand how important critical thinking is to their everyday life and strive to use it as much as they can. My mind is always all over the spectrum of things. I am able to think logically whenever there is a problem that confronts me. I am able to think of many different outcomes and possibilities very quickly while keeping myself and others in mind all at the same time. Although I am egotistical which is a normal human trait. I know when things are not about me and I understand that problems or issues are bigger than just myself. I feel that this is a talent or trait that I actually have been born with. I have always been that person that people come to for advice on things or ideas and I have even taken a psychological screen test to show that my way of thinking is extremely advanced for my age.
