One of my greatest achievements in my life is earning my Eagle Scout. It was one of the most difficult, but fulfilling, things that I have ever done in my life. When I am faced with rejection it just gives me more of a drive to do better the next time. I believe that if you fail or succeed at anything there is a lesson you could learn from it.
5. In one word describe yourself?
In one word I would describe myself as ambitious. I always strive to go to the next level and I always want to better myself as a human being. After Graduate School, I hope to have my PhD in psychology or my doctorate in psychiatry. I would like to start out working in jails, talking to criminals and analyzing their brains versus the brain of an average adult to study how the brain reacts with criminal activity and why they do and feel what they do. I have heard that a person can not do that type of work for very long because it is emotionally tasking so after that, I would like to open my own counseling practice up. I would do either marriage and family therapy or focus on teenage depression. Eventually, I would like to retire into school psychology or become a psychology teacher. Rejection is a very difficult thing for most people to handle. Combine this with taking part in an act to knowingly get rejected, the perfect concoction of awkwardness, anxiety, and discomfort can be brewed. The rejection challenge was something that I never expected myself to want to do. I could only imagine what the other person would say and how awkward it would be when I took part in these challenges. Taking part in one challenge changed my confidence in an immense way; it showed me that people are not as dangerous as they may seem to be, it inspired me to move past the awkward feelings and take part in more rejection challenges: anything from asking for a dollar to asking a police officer for a ride.…

Three words that best describe me are ambitious, diligent, and considerate. I have always had this sense of ambition to push myself and be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. This began in the first grade when I decided to win the county spelling bee by spending countless hours studying the phonetics and spelling of words that students even four grades above me did not know. Then it intensified as I spent a whole school year in Palestine, and ended up receiving the top mark in my whole grade, despite not knowing how to read or write in the language nine months earlier. Soon I had poured every ounce of my ambition into becoming a first chair viola player, an international finalist in a business competition, and even a trilingual…
