Wojak: A Short Story
Have you ever lived the life of a spoiled rich kid? A kid who can get anything he needs or wants at a simple snap of a finger? Taylor grew up a rich kid, and is still living the lavish life. Although Taylor can have any exquisite thing he wants, he is still having trouble another friend. Don’t get Taylor wrong, he does have one friend by the name of Wojak. Wojak is the person Taylor goes to, to not feel unaccompanied. Taylor and Wojak's lives are extremely similar. They both attend the most prestigious high school in North America. ‘Vixen Academy for the Honored'. A school where you can be nobody, but somehow manage to become a CEO of some company that your father started and left for you to finish in his footsteps. Today is Taylor’s …show more content…
The cafeteria is sprawling with voices and the aroma of government food. The chairs are black, the tables are slate gray. The room itself it well lit. Freeing his mind from thought. Taylor comes back into terms with what has happened today. Today has to be the most dreadful day of Taylor’s life. Taylor hasn’t seen Wojak since Sierra’s little act of kindness. In lunch Wojak did not hesitate to look in Taylor’s direction. After five minutes of sitting at a table far away from Taylor, Wojak got up, leading him to storm out of the commons. Taylor knew this could possibly be the only chance to solve his complication with his best friend. Catching up with Wojak who is now sitting on top of a high cement wall. “What did the ‘Wicked Witch of Vixen' say?” Taylor asked softly. “Why do you care?” Wojak questioned abruptly. “Because I am your friend.” Taylor said. “Why is it that when Sierra told me that ‘you were only being my friend is because I make you look like a better person' seem true?” Wojak said. “I can not believe that Sierra would even dare to speak words of such.” Taylor said. “How can you even take upon yourself that I am only friends with you for a specific reason?” “I am friends with you because we understand each other.” Taylor states. “Besides, we are the only two people that understand us.” “Now that’s true.” Wojak laughs. “So are we cool Wo?” Taylor ask. “Yes we are Skampy.” Wojak takes out his IPhone with a very bright green case. “Oh Snap!     The note said, “It wasn’t an accident.” The so called “accident” that killed Jake’s best friends turns into a question that Jake is desperate to find answers to. At this rough time in his life, Jake must deal with making a difficult choice. Jake is forced to deal with pressure when he meets suspicious FBI agents. He is convinced that they need one another to solve their respective mysteries, but they leave Jake wondering what their mystery really is. The choice that Jake carelessly makes, shows that he is desperate to find answers to the mystery. Jake is taken advantage of because he is clueless about who they are, and turns out the hard choice Jake made, was the wrong one. Jake’s confidence about who to trust is broken when he ends up in a life or death situation. Jake starts to get too close to answering the mystery. He finds out the truth and Jake must fight for his life. Strange agents claim they need Jake’s help and that puts him in an uncomfortable situation, where he makes the wrong choice. He then realizes that the accident was never really an accident. Jake’s actions cause him to block out a trust worthy friend, as well as getting trapped in his wrong decisions. He gets too close to answers and almost loses his life. Jake put confidence in who he met instead of trusting what he knew. In the end, Jake was saved by the friend he decided not to trust.…
