William Shakespeare is one of the world's best know authors during the Elizabethan Age. His poems and dramatizations are part what made him a standout amongst the most compelling writers. He is best known for his plays, which are as yet being preformed right up 'til today. In Shakespeare's sonnets the rhyme scheme is abab cdcd efef gg. A sonnet does not have to be written by Shakespeare to be considered a Shakespearean sonnet it just has to follow the rhyme scheme and the way it was written.
