Her name is Colleen Biszewski and was my 7th and 8th grade math and science teacher at Queen of Martyrs School. Not only did Mrs. Biszewski prepare us academically, but she helped us practice good Christian values. In addition, she was accessible for all students, treating everyone with fairness.…

I’ve been wondering, why aren't hats allowed school? Extra information about the topic sentence: I mean, hats aren't hurting anyone, so why are they banned. I can think of a few reasons, but none are very good. It’s disrespectful, they’re a distraction? Those aren’t even remotely solid claims, there half-baked ideas and archaic beliefs. Are we really going to listen to people that don’t present any evidence? So in this essay I’m going to show you why I feel hats should be allowed in school, and hopefully by the end you will too. Not allowing hats takes away from individuality, there is NO good reasons why they shouldn’t be allowed, and if they don’t get a chance to take responsibility.…

Schools should ban tag and other playground games. Banning tag is a good idea because it will limit the amount of injuries. When kids play tag, sometimes it can get a little too rough and lead to them getting hurt. When we ban tag, we eliminate the amount of kids that go home with injuries. To add on, banning tag and other playground games will also limit the amount of bullying.Sometimes kids are repeatedly targeted by bullies. When we take tag away, we prevent this situation from even starting. This will make sure kids feelings won't get hurt. One time my son came home crying because kids kept singling him out in tag. Taking away tag will also prevent lawsuits against schools. When kids get hurt some parents will sue the schools. This means the schools have to pay a lot of money to the parents because their kids got hurt. When we take away tag, this insures that the parents will now have little to no reason to sue the schools.…

As grades go down teachers, parents and educators are wondering how to solve this problem. One answer they have come up with much research is year around school. However, the potential benefits of year-round school are very little and are outnumbered by the cons. The raising utility bill, scheduling complications and ironically no academic improvement are some of the many negative outcomes of year round school. True, year around school has a lot of benefits but with all the pros comes all the cons, and because of this year round schooling should be banned in all public schools.…

I feel like we should be able to bring cop dogs into our school to search for unwanted stuff that could be in this school. Yes, privacy is a huge and important thing, but if we are not going to use our privacy responsible then we don't need to have it. People today might think that we are being not cool, by taking away there drugs, but first drugs are bad, and second some of those people will one day realize that doing drugs is not what they want for there body. Another treason that dogs should be allowed in school for searching purposes, is that we need to keep this school safe and to make sure that the kids in this school are safe, and that there are not people bringing weapons to school. As a school bored it is your job to keep the kids…

I’m also more than sure that other students would do the same and not only themselves but their friends and so on and so forth, if it was me I’d encourage all of my friends to do the same. However, some students don’t deserve to leave school campus so therefore, they should all be given a chance to do so. Also students would apply to the rule of just leaving school to get lunch and come right back due to the fact that they wouldn’t want to lose the privilege, and the ones who choose not to come back are the only ones who should lose the right to leave school for lunch.…

Whenever someone goes to a high school football game, it is hard to ignore all of the posters and sponsors from certain corporations hung all around the stadium. In today’s generation, an abundance of schools focuses on advertisements and corporate deals for their extracurricular activities. There are banners, logos, posters, etc. posted all over the walls of corporate sponsored schools. Some schools have even gone as far as allowing certain corporations to sponsor cafeterias, clothing, and food and drinks. There are many pros, and cons when a school is being sponsored by a corporation. However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons in this situation. Schools should definitely allow corporate sponsorships since it positively impacts the school and its’ students as a whole.…

What an amazing school system! A child born on or before August 31st at 11:59pm is more socially and emotionally ready for school. Whereas, a child born merely a minute later, still needs more time to develop. Well, that’s what North Carolina State Board of Education (NCSBE) believes. North Carolina State Board of Education should allow kids to start school when they are ready because delaying them can result in them losing interest in learning, make them the older ones in class or heighten the chances of them dropping out.…

Could jamming to your favorite tunes actually be a benefit while working on a research paper in Chemistry class? Might Drake’s latest album, HYFR, be the key to your success in the future? As a matter of fact, recent findings from The Center for New Discoveries in Learning, music improves one’s learning potential by blocking out any external aberrations occurring within the world behind the student, and focuses him or her on concentration! In my opinion, it increases focus among students making an outline for the upcoming chapter exam about the Mole in Chemistry, and finally, it is the only way some students can actually find amusement while being in school and taking notes. Now the decision is on you, should music be banned? Because, and I think I speak for about maybe, 99% of students my age, I reckon it shouldn’t!…

First I want to tell you with whom I honor, with whom I have, learned to respect, and who deserve the outmost admirations. The teachers I am talking about work hard to do a great job, because, above all, it is a kind of responsibility so to speak towards their students and relevantly toward themselves. I have had several teachers in my years as a student both in the primary and secondary schools among which there were only few whom I felt to fit the description above, maybe most of them were good in their own way, but one cannot be sufficient in all ways or I may also have misunderstood them. However, the teacher that I chose as deserving of the “My Favorite Teacher” earned this title due to the care she showed to each of her students through her teaching, personality, and the all the fun had in her class is Ms. Fleming my writing teacher. Ms. Fleming is an open minded, caring person who seemed to love what she is doing. Ms. Fleming is more than a teacher to me; she is a person you could go to with a problem and she would try and help you find the answer. She would help you, but expected you to put the work into finding out for yourself how to do something. She always came across as someone who cared about every student as if they were her “children”. Ms. Fleming is like a book that gives you the right information that would help you on getting a six on the FCAT writing. About 95% of her student’s agree that Ms. Fleming spent each day preparing us for the FCAT writing in thirteen days. The first time I walked into the classroom I notice a flaming red headed teacher sitting down. I thought that she would be a boring, and mean teacher giving her student’s a lot of homework and essays to write. Every word that comes out of her mouth sounds like music to my brain. When it comes to teaching she doesn’t let out a lot of stress, most of the stress comes from whether or not her student’s would receive a four or higher on the FCAT writing. When I’m in class Ms. Fleming have…
