Why We Dropped The Atomic Bomb In Japan

I saw that Hiroshima had disappeared…” Only two days ago, the USA dropped two nuclear bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, two major cities in Japan. These cities were both moderately populated and now could be considered the ghost towns of Japan. American people know what recently happened at Pearl Harbor. So many people were killed, so many boats were sunk, and so much money was lost. Two days ago, the United States finally retaliated. The United States dropped two atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, two cities in Japan.
The bombs were filled with uranium, a very dangerous and very flammable element. The smaller of the two bombs, “little boy,” was dropped on Hiroshima. According to recent death counts, it killed 80,000 people on impact. Through continued research, Japanese scientists believe radiation has reached Japan’s atmosphere. Many more people are believed to perish due to this radiation. Moreover, the bombs were part of a project named the Manhattan Project. This project was supposedly created because some refugees from Europe were afraid of Germany’s research in nuclear weapons. Thus, in 1940, the United States began its own research. It is called the Manhattan project due to the fact that the engineering corps’ Manhattan district. Furthermore, the main test site for the nuclear weapons was in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
