Why Was The New Deal Successful
There are many reasons why The New Deal was and wasn’t successful. But, in overall The New Deal was more unsuccessful because of the amount of people losing their jobs and the government having too much power. People started to lose their jobs due to the many businesses closing down which led to the poor and the rich to be equal in wealth. Businesses closing was mainly caused by the government having too much power and they thought they could do anything they wanted because no one could stop them. The government also thought they were helping Americans, but actually they were harming them and this led for the Depression to last even longer.     With all of Roosevelt's attempts to make a better society out of the American depressed land, yet he still failed to completely exile the depression. However, the New Deal was successful in regaining the land's confidence and somehow reunited most citizens together. Due to the American circumstances, the New Deal did not reach far enough, and it was allowed to reform as much as the citizens allowed it to modify.
