I can not believe that one personality quiz can understand so much about me, well that is what the True Colors quiz did for me. One trait that gold says is that they “value organization”. There is nothing that drives me more crazy than an unorganized locker or anything thats un-organized such as a tacklebox. Especially when the tackle box is used often. Another trait that the gold has is that they “want to be self sufficient”. I find there is nothing better than when I am home by myself and I have to make my own food and also do chores alone.     In the movie True Colors it was a documentary about two men one white and one black who were doing an experiment in St Louis Missouri in 1991. The two moved into a motel in St Louis and were getting prepared to do the experiment. The experiment was to see how people react to a white person and a black person in different situations. The first situation was at the shopping mall where the two went into a store and as soon has John walked in he got immediate attention from the store manager about if he needs any help trying on anything but a few minutes later as soon as Glenn walked in he was seen by the manager but never got service from him even though he clearly looked as if he needed help picking something out. After they tried that situation they went on to the next which was at a car dealership. Here at the car dealership John went first again and immediately he received service and also had cheap deals about a red car and a low interests rate and down payment and even had one of the employees ask if he could shine his shoes to buy this car. When Glenn walked onto the car lot it took several minutes to receive service from anyone one even though you can see them look at him. He also got screwed on the cost of the same car and also on had a higher down payment and interest rate. After this experiment the group went to go talk to the car lot staff and asked them why the two got different deals and why they didn’t get service as quick as each other. The staff did not want to answer the questions and walked off. The next situation was at a record store where they both went in at the same time and as John had received help Glenn was being followed and surveillanced by the store manager even though he wasn’t doing anything suspicious.     The good attributes that style #6 described me having is a person someone can lean on, I'm loyal, and committed with relationships. Also, I'm careful with money, I strive to do what is expected of me, and defend traditions I care about. An example I can think of, of me being loyal is when I ask somebody to lend me money, and I say I'll pay them back a certain day I make sure I keep my word and pay the person I owed. A reason I could think of me being committed in my relationships is when I went out with a girl for two years and I didn't cheat on her. An example of me being loyal is with my friends and family. I'm there whenever they need to talk or are sick and not feeling well. Being safe is a good attibute that did apply to me. I know it is because I keep my family safe by locking all the doors and windows when it is time to sleep. Also, I always check on my little brother and ask my mom how he's doing and if he's okay or not. How I'm careful with money is I always save money from what I get paid and buy anew game for my Playstaion 3, which are usually $60. Another reason is I save money for whenever I want to go eat somewhere, and occasionally when I want to buy new clothes or shoes.
