Why to Re-Elect President Obama

"Yes we can!", roared the crowd. The 2008 presidental election was over. John McCain had lost to the first major party endorsed African-American presidental candiate in United States history. Since then Obama has closed troubling chapters in our history. I believe President Obama should be re-elected because he instituted the Affortable Care Act, promoted economic recovery, and help to repair our educational system. One of President Obama's accomplishments is the Affortable Care Act which has helped to save and enrich a plethora of lives. The act has made healthcare more affordable with no out-of-pocket costs for preventative care and discounted prescriptions for Seniors. In addition, young adults have the chance to stay on their parents' insurance for a longer period of time than before. Families are eligible for important new benefits that will ensurethat they need and deserve for at a lower cost. With this new act, around 6.6 million young adults who had been without insurance coverage have now been able to obtain coverage. Over these last several years the economic hole has gotten very deep, but Obama is continuing to improve the economy and create more jobs and economicc spending. He has cut taxes for small businesses by as much as 20%. Obama was quoted in a article stating, "We need to let small-business owners keep more of their hard-earned money so they can start hiring again." Obama is also creating jobs to help decrease the unemployment rates; especially those who have fought for our country. "No one has fought for this country should ever have to fight for a job when they come home." Today, higher education isn't a luxury it's a necesity that every American family member needs. The quote states "...Making it harder for our young people to afford higher education and earn their degrees is nothing more than cutting our own future off at the knees..."
