Why Smarters Should Stay In High School
Education is the foundation of a smart economy. The dropout age should be raised to increase the rate for a smarter economy. Students should stay in school until 18 years old for three reasons. The first reason students should stay in school until 18 is to earn a significant wage amount. The second reason is it causes students to be more informed about the world, and students who stay in school have a less percentage to go to jail or public assistance. The last reason is raise the dropout age so more students graduate high school. Furthermore, Students should stay in high school so they have a better future to give them a better chance to earn a good wage, and have a great job.

More than half of all dropouts to jail or on public assistance. Going to jail is one response to dropping out of high school. More and more people have been getting in trouble with the police, or their friends and family. There is also a reason the high school dropouts have been getting in trouble with family or friends because of their job choices, or their education level and not being able to handle real world situations on their own. Student that drop out of high school are less likely to be wiser, and or smarter than someone that have graduated college. Those who graduate have a more of a chance toward their dream jobs, and accomplishing what they have always wanted to do in their life, which they would have never been able to accomplish if they have dropped out at an age younger than 18.
