In the United States, are levels of government participate in this drug epidemic problem. We are currently spending millions of millions dollars every year to get people. Which happens these people like to use Marijuana. These peaceful people get locked up in prison every year and us the taxpayers have to pay this bill. Right now we are paying for there food, housing, health care, lawyer fees, court costs, expenses and more to see these people get locked up. Is it worth the costs? Also there if finally addiction. There is absolutely no evidence show patients who use marijuana become addicted to the drug. There is alot pharmacy drugs used for treatment and yet they are addictive, yet they are legal and some over the counter! To say that marijuana should remain illegal because it is addictive, is extraneous because these items are still used in our society today and are harmful to our human body, but all these drugs still remain legal in our country.
