Why Should The Government Fund The NIEHS?
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, also known as the NIEHS, is dedicated to helping our environment and health, so why would the government not fund them. The NIEHS wants to be funded by the federal government to help them on their journey in helping our environment. They are asking for $680,000,000 to help progress their work on our planet. We all know the one thing that should be most important to us all, is living a happy and healthy life. So the federal government should fund the NIEHS to get the movement going and lead us to a much better environment. They will help improve our daily lives, betters our environment, and help provide environmental justice to us all. If we have a chance to change the world in a big way

“Environmental justice’ is a term that simply means making sure that everyone has a fair chance of living the healthiest life possible.” commented ¨Environmental Justice: What Does That Mean¨ (paragraph 1). Everyone knows the word healthy and many try to live by the word. But aren’t succeeding if our environment falls way below the word. However, $680,000,000 is a huge amount of money to ask for. There are many other research companies the government could fund rather than the NIEHS. “NIEHS studies the health effects of the environment. There are laws and regulations to help protect us from many of the things in our environment that might make us sick. This is because scientists at NIEHS and around the world have been studying the environment and everything around us in our environment.” stated ¨Why and How Do We Study Environmental Healthy?” (paragraph 2). This shows the true dedication the NIEHS has as they are working hard to keep everyone in the world safe and healthy. If the government was to fund the NIEHS the $680,000,000 more in-likely they would really take in count the money and help make the world a better place.
