Why Kids Should Have Chores
Although kids say they don't want chores, they should be surprised by how much these chores can help them in life. One way it helps them is by helping them be more responsible. Secondly, it helps them develop skills for doing that certain thing. Lastly, they feel more helpful to the family. I strongly believe kids should have chores. First of all, having chores is very helpful. These chores can make you more responsible. It shows this by you doing more stuff to help yourself be even more responsible. Since you get used to cleaning the house or simply doing the dishes, you get the ability to have responsibility. This is why I think kids should have chores. Second of all, it helps them develop skills for doing that certain chore. I have seen 18 year olds not know how to do the laundry. If they were to have chores maybe they would be an expert at doing the laundry. I have also seen 7 year olds not know how to pour a glass of juice. None of this would of had happened if those kids would of had chores. …show more content…
Besides feeling like an important contributor to the family, they also feel a connection to the family. Kids without chores actually don't feel as loved than those who do have chores. Again this is why I strongly believe kids should have chores. Having our kids do chores will really help with their responsibility, their skills on doing stuff, and with them feeling important. Every second that goes by for your child that has no chores can really affect them later in life. Let's give our children ( even toddlers ) chores as soon as
