Why Is Winston Churchill A Good Leader

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was one of the greatest leaders of all time. He was born in 1874 and he lived in the UK. He was a Prime Minister, but he also had a passion of writing, so he was a writer as well. The leader known as Winston Churchill stood by himself when all the other countries were being taken over by Nazi Germany, him and the British army and prevailed. Winston Churchill was an outstanding leader because of his great characteristics and traits that allowed him to be a great role model, but there were few things that made him a better leader than the rest.

It was hard because in the battlefield Churchill was forced to make lots of hard decisions, but he had the courage to do anything because even if he was scared, he didn’t want to let Britain down. When France surrendered to Axis power, Britain stood all alone to fight. Winston Churchill didn’t waver though; he didn’t let Nazi Germany take over Britain. He took his army and immediately went to fight, and his army prevailed. “Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.” – Winston Churchill. He never surrendered to the other countries around him, he carried on until the end. When France got taken over, Winston was afraid that France’s battleships would be transferred onto Germany, so he initiated an attack. It was a tough battle, and they barely made it through, fortunately he had prevented 6 ships from getting to the Germans, and more than one thousand French naval servicemen had died in that battle.
