No, Pablo Escobar was not just some common drug dealer, he became one of the most affluent Drug Lords of all time with a net worth of over 30 billion American dollars.

There was a film made based on the life of Pablo Escobar starring Edgar Ramirez and directed by Antoine Fuqua. They were expecting the film’s release in late 2008 or early 2009. They also made a book about Pablo Escobar entitled “Mark Bowden’s book killing Pablo: the hunt for the world’s greatest outlaw” that relates how Escobar was killed and his cartel dismantled by US special forces and intelligence the Colombia military and Los Pepes controlled by the Cali Cartel. Also they have another book called “News of a kidnapping” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez which details the series of abductions that Escobar masterminded to pressure the then Colombian government into guaranteeing him non-extradition if he turned himself in and last but not least, “Photographer James Mollison’s book “The Memory of Pablo Escobar (2009) which tells Pablo’s story over 350 photographs and documents.” He also has films and documentary and television shows, two major feature files on the Colombian Drug Lord Escobar, and Killing Pablo was announced in 2007. They also made a video game putting the name of Pablo Escobar in the video game for example in the video game Grand theft auto: Vice City (2002) the airport is named “Escobar International Airport after Pablo Escobar” also in the “On-Rails shooter game Resident Evil: The Dark Side Chronicles (2009), the main antagonist, Javier Hidalgo seems to be based on Pablo Escobar. Both were drug lords, have a daughter named Manuela, possessed a personal militia, and had a mini zoo of exotic animals (Escobar had a collection of American animals, and Javier had a collection of B.O.WS (Bio organic Weapons) had the population under their control, and shared the same fate. “In the video game Scarface: The World Is Yours (2006), a random conversation with Tony Montana and bankers makes reference to Escobar, stating that Manuel Noriega stole Pablo’s money and didn’t pay the CIA
