Why Is John F Kennedy Important
John F. Kennedy famously stated “I am not the Catholic candidate for President. I am the Democratic Party's candidate for President, who happens also to be a Catholic.” This quote explains that although Kennedy is Catholic, it doesn't mean that he can't be a president. Kennedy is from the Democratic party which he states and is also Catholic. He can be both. A plethora of civilians will go along with Kennedy. John F. Kennedy was an influential figure in American history for the reason being that he influenced many others who followed him even though he is a Catholic and a President. Brookline, Massachusetts on May 29, 1917 was the day John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born. Parents, Joseph Patrick Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald and siblings of John are Joseph P. Kennedy (1915-1944), Rosemary Kennedy (1918-), Kathleen “kick” Kennedy (1920-1948), Eunice Mary Kennedy (1921-), Patricia Kennedy (1924-), Robert Francis Kennedy (1925-1968), Jean Ann Kennedy (1928-) and Edward Moore Kennedy (Ted) (1932-). Kennedy was the fourth president to be assassinated and the eighth to die in office. John concocted changes in America and constructed many agreements with countries. Being married with Jacqueline Kennedy made other changes in the U.S. John felt sorrow for when his two sons and daughter passed away. May they rest in peace. With their loss, he stayed strong during his presidency. Applying one of Kennedy’s lessons in my life would be really enjoyable. Some of his lessons would be a really big help in my life to help me sometime in the future so that it could apply to my life. It would help me in some situations to complete. I look up to Kennedy for the reason being that he made new changes in America and made new peace agreements with the majority of countries.
