Why Is Gun Control Unconstitutional

The issue is whether or not it is unconstitutional to have gun control in the United States. I think we shouldn't have gun control but support gun rights. Gun control would be against the common good. If the government took away the guns from citizens we would have no way of protecting ourselves. People wishing to use guns to harm people could smuggle them in from other countries and lie about having them. Therefore if a citizen had a gun, that citizen could hypothetically stop the other person from harming others.

This issue is important because we need to be able to defend ourselves and the people we care about. We don't just need to be able to defend against people attempting to hurt our country but also our government. Citizens could easily be

Gun rights are important if we want to be able to defend ourselves. For instance a Glendale resident spotted a burglary suspect and confronted them with a firearm. He then continued on and restrained the individual with zip ties until the police arrived.(nraila.org) All of this happened on the 13th of April this year; only a few days ago. This man helped protect someone's belongings.
