Why Is Dying Important?
Most of us work hard for our money and im sure we all work to pay our bills or spoil ourselves but think about it like this 10$ we spend is an hour of our hard work. So why not give to the people who actually need it?
-Instead of spending money on unnecessary items, the right thing to do would be to donate to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Consider all the many sick kids in the world, ranging from ages two-and-a-half years old to eighteen years old. Many of them probably think, “Dying seems better than all the agony I have to go through. There’s nothing to look forward to.”

Put yourself in their position.

*Pretend you’re depressed, legless, and stuck in a hospital bed due to a major car crash, and the only thing you want is to be able to

Shouldn’t I donate to other smaller foundations that need more money than this one does?”

Even though Make-A-Wish is a popular foundation, it doesn’t mean it needs less money. In fact, it probably needs MORE than others because it helps a lot more people than other organizations do. Besides, most of the other smaller charities are not as good. You never know what they might be doing. If they aren’t well-known, their cause probably isn’t as important or is not as beneficial. They could even be scamming people out of their money! The better choice will be to help a bigger organization, such as Make-A-Wish, so your money is put to good use and Make-A-Wish could help more people.

The Make-A-Wish foundation does just that by granting each of them their one true desire, and to do that, they need assistance and money, so you should definitely donate! Make-A-Wish is a recognized foundation, and their cause is a superb one. Think of all the happy smiles you’d bring just by donating, which is the right thing to do. Contributing to Make-A-Wish could change someone’s life, or even save one! Every little action counts. Go out there and make a difference by going on http://www.wish.org/help/donate and

I’m Antonio Jones, just another student at the high school. I personally think that giving money to charity is a great idea. It’s a good way to spend and also share your money with people who don’t have much or none. Just for the simple fact that there are people all over the world that are starving. It would be okay if the school’s treasury could give 250$ to each or give 500$ to both, but they can’t.…

Let’s move on to how to donate items. There are three steps to take in order to donate your items. Number one, you have to determine whether or not your item/items are useful. Most charities can only make use of items that are new, unused, or nearly new. If you don't have any use for your old, tattered couch, rusty washing machine, or other used item, chances are neither will a charity. Similarly, a timeshare that has turned out to be a bad investment for you won't do much to help out a worthy charity. Number two, Consider selling your items and donating the proceeds to charity. By donating cash instead of goods you allow charities greater flexibility in spending the money so that it reaches the people or animals that need it the most. When you sell the items yourself you also eliminate the for-profit middleman…

“Each year in the USA about 500,000 children are coping with life-threatening illnesses” (Huang et al., 2010). The standard of care for children living with life-threatening conditions is vital for these children as well as their families. Palliative care, which is treatment aimed at reducing pain and other symptoms, rather than treatment aimed at a cure, is extremely important early on. An improvement with earlier access to palliative care involves alleviating not only the child’s physical pain, but their psychological and social distress.…

Habitat for humanity uses small donations for the better cause of creating houses that are cheaper and more affordable. Almost half the world’s population, or 3 billion people live on 3.50$ or less a day. 80% of the world’s population lives off of less than 10$ a day. And that's not including the average citizen who still somewhat struggles. The top 62 richest people are richer than 3.6 billion people combined. This means that the rest of the population has little to no money, and therefore is definitely unable to afford a reasonable home. But with a small donation, you can help at least one more family achieve…
