Why Is Action Without Planning, Action With Planning Is The Cause Of All Success
Management is a way of making things happens through people. There is countless number of managers out in the world, some good and some bad. But looking at the great managers and CEO’s like Michael O’Leary, Bill Gates, Pat Doherty, Richard Branson etc. they all have a set of skills that allow them to be successful in their individual companies. Managers like these have created an environment and made crucial decisions that have allowed their companies to thrive in this day and age. I believe to be a great manager you need to be able to complete the four fundamental tasks of management but also be able to add a touch of magic and luck to become successful. The four essential tasks for a manager are planning, organising, leading and controlling, but also some charisma and initiative can go along way.

As a manager it is your job to create organisational goals and effectively allocate resources to complete these goals. But in some cases managers fail to complete these goals, as they’re unrealistic and unreachable.

    I believe a manager should possess 3 basic traits. They are self-awareness, curiosity and independency. Let me elaborate more on this. First and foremost, in order to manage others one must first be able to understand oneself and manage themselves. To understand oneself one must be self-aware.
