Why I Want To Become A Radiologist
The medical technology world has always been fascinating to me. From my perspective, medical technologies will be an exciting area of growth in the world economy in the future years. My long-term goal is to become a radiologist and provide my services to my community. I chose South University to pursue my career because I will get my bachelor’s degree in Health Science faster.

When I was child, my dream was to become an inventor. I wanted to invent something that will make the world better. I thought using technology would be the best way to realize my dream. I never thought about becoming a radiologist until I had to make an essay about my career choice in High School. I want to be a radiologist because I think; having the ability to produce images of the human body using different techniques is fascinating. One of my reasons for choosing this career is because radiology is at the leading edge of technological advances in clinical medicine. My second reason because they make good money. With that money I will be able to help my family and the people in need. I plan to achieve my goal after acquiring necessary tools and experience required to diagnose, manage and provide therapeutic options to patients. Radiologists are physicians who specialize in medical diagnosis through the use of imaging studies. Radiologists also play a great role in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in adults and children.
