Also I’m very interesting about to learn how to run a daycare center because that will help me to achieve my second goal. My second goal is to get the position as a director of the center. This it would not be easy but I’m going to work hard to get it. I would like to be a director because as a director you have the opportunity to make important decisions that will help children and parents to be more involved with the program. In my heart I have always wanted to teach. I believe that there are three ingredients to learning. All children can learn, children should be respected as people, and children are children and should be treated that way. I believe that children are able to learn regardless of their race, religion, social status and the environment around them. With a little patience and kindness you can teach a child almost anything. Respect is something that is earned. I believe that if you show children the respect that they deserve they will respect you in return. My goal as an educator is to help children learn in a safe, healthy, nurturing and structured environment. I think that children learn best when there are clear and concise rules and when they are able to participate in their learning. During my teaching experience, I find that children learn with different learning styles. Multiple intelligences play a big role in their learning.…

Through this environment, I hope that with my hard work, dedication, and help of my colleagues, the younger generation of tomorrow will have a pleasurable learning experience and think school is a fun place to be! Teacher qualities and responsibilities As an educator, one must be friendly, a people person, well educated, keen at listening and most importantly, keeping the little ones safe at all times.…

I have decided to apply for a primary education course as I enjoy working with young students and I am passionate about helping the future generations with their education. In sixth form I study four subjects including: BTEC science, Applied Business, Applied I.C.T and BTEC Health and Social. These courses all provide me with a good skill set in order to study for a primary education degree. The subjects I am doing provide me with appropriate skills for this course as Health and Social required me to do a work placement for 100 hours. For this placement I decided to work at All Saints National Primary School. It was through this work placement that I learned that teaching was the career for me. As well as this I do I.C.T. which in this day and age is a relevant course to do, especially for teachers, considering the amount of technology they have to use daily. I also do BTEC science and Applied Business these subjects do provide me with skills such as essay writing and organisational skills that are required to be a teacher.…

My main reason for wanting to become a teacher is because I love children and I love working with them. Upon graduation from Boston College, I've had the opportunity of working in New York City public schools as a substitute teacher and at a privately owned nursery school in the Bronx as a part-time instructor. My experiences have been very rewarding thus far and have inspired me to want to continue along this path and seek further knowledge in the field. I can't even begin to describe the joyous feeling of knowing that I've touched the lives of the kids-- it is truly priceless. When kids pass tests, when kids say, "I get it," when kids come in and say, "Thanks. You're the best teacher I ever had," or "will we have you again" that means a lot. They make me laugh, they give me hugs, they cheer for my presence, they are observant, and most of them just need a little push. They give me nicknames, they miss me when I'm gone, they try so hard to do what I ask so much of the time. The most amazing feeling of all though is when the kids tell me they want to be just like me and teach just like me and are able to go in front of the class and teach others what I have just taught them. I have finally discovered what I am truly passionate about and am pursuing this passion by continuing my education so that I am able to fulfill my goal of being the best that anyone possible could be. This is what has driven me to want to go to Mercy and continue my education to become a teacher.…

I want to be a teacher for several different reasons. I initially decided teaching was for me when I was in middle school. I had an amazing teacher that helped me through a lot. She made a huge impact on my life, and I knew then that I wanted to be able to do the same for other kids. I later went on to have children of my own, which gave me even more reason to become a teacher. And even with the economy the way it is today, there are actually a lot of opportunities for teaching given the wide variety of jobs a teaching degree can obtain. I also understand the responsibility that comes with teaching and that the job doesn’t end when you leave the classroom. That is why I respect the teaching field as much as I do. I know I still have a long way to go before I get to my teaching career but I feel it will all be worth it when I get there.…
