Why I Want To Be A Registered Nurse Essay

I chose to do my research paper over RN’s also known as registered nurses. Some of the reasons I would choose to be an RN for my career is because they are always needed everywhere, they make a pretty decent amount of money, and there are many branches of being a registered nurse so you have so much to choose from so you can do something you love for a living. The specific field of nursing I would like to go into is obstetrician, or OBGYN nurse. They care for women from puberty to menopause, they also help women during pregnancy, labor and childbirth, as well as women with health issues with their reproductive system. These nurses help in a lot of ways with pregnancies, they help the mother in keeping a healthy body and diet while carrying
Medical students need to complete four years of medical school, and then three to eight years of internship and residency, to complete advanced educational requirements for an obstetrician and gynecologist. This advanced training happens within four years of undergraduate college education. I feel like being an obstetric nurse would help me in life in general when it comes to having my own children, I feel like it will help me understand babies and newborns and it will help me out in the long run when I have my own children. I would love to stay close to home but I also understand that going somewhere bigger would give me a better job opportunities and probably be a better pay and more hours. Also Crockett hospital doesn’t have a very good reputation and I really don’t want to work at such a small hospital, I might starting out so I can get some experience under my belt and then move to somewhere that pays better or gets more hours or something. I understand that this will be a long and hard journey to get this education and experience but this is something I have wanted to do my entire life and I really feel like this is what I am called to do and something I could be good
