My plan for this research paper is to figure out my my plans for life. In my paper I will be looking for a suitable career that will be great for my future lifestyle.

Surveys

I took the Career Cluster and the Basic Skills survey. The Career Cluster survey said my top three suitable careers would be Hospitality and Tourism, Agriculture, and also Human Services. This is very good because I want to be a Physical Therapist. The Basic Skills survey said that science and mathematics is what I scored highest in. If I want to be a Physical Therapist i need reading at a level five, active listening at level six, writing level four, science level three, and critical thinking at level five, Some of those may not be my best skills now

A Physical Therapist assesses, plans, organizes and participates in rehabilitated programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and improve or correct disabling corrections resulting from disease or injury. I choose this career because I like helping people. I want to help people get through their pains and get them back to what they wanna do while not in pain. I really just want to be there for someone when they need help.
As a Physical Therapist I will perform and document an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. I will also identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation, and when my patient reaches his or hers goals for physical therapy I will discharge them. I will mostly work inside with equipment to help my patient grow stronger, but some activities will be outside.
By the time I am getting ready to work my job will be important. Right now the annual growth rate is estimated to be 19%. The outlook for this career is increasing. The average hourly wage = $37.89/annual = $78,820. Thats a good amount of money coming in for me. I got my information from cfnc.org

I really want to focus on my work. So I can make good grades and, I can get into a good college. I will also have to focus on sports so that’s enough to focus on for my freshman year.

College

This program prepares people interested in this job to help with physical limitation caused by injury or disease. With being a physical therapist I will help with rehabilitation psychology, professional and many more. Based on cfnc.org UNC is a great college and elligiable for a physical therapist. I hope to be getting a Masters degree that has a six year term. If I am going to be a Physical Therapist it doesn’t really matter what degree I have. I really don’t want to drive an hour a day to get to the campus so I will probably stay in a dorm on campus. I have a job now but i haven’t really started saving for college yet. Me and my parents haven’t really talked about saving for college or any of my plans for college but I imagine we will soon.
