Why I Want To Be A Njhs Essay
The opportunity to participate in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a one that I am completely honored to have. After much thought, I have chosen a few of the most important reasons I want become a member of the NJHS. Participating in the NJHS will give me chances to give back to my community, help me learn important life and character skills, and start an academic path that will help me in high school and college. I believe that I possess the skills and character qualities that will be necessary to become a contributing NJHS member, and will work hard at bettering our community if I do get the chance. Helping my community is extremely significant to me, so I participate in many activities, in and out of school, that support our community, such as BETA club or Girl Scouts. If I become a member of the NJHS, it will hopefully lead to my participation in other activities like it, such as the ACE and NHS. The NJHS will lay the groundwork for future success in academics and making a difference in the community. Goal setting and determination are two things that will be learned in the NJHS that will help aid me in my quest to do well in all sorts of academic (and non-academic) activities. It will also help me maintain a positive and curious outlook that will fuel a love of learning, in and out of school. The NJHS will be the beginning of a life-long passion for learning that will help me throughout all stages of my life, from high school to a future profession.
I am tremendously grateful for the chance to help out our community and, if given this chance, will enjoy it greatly. The NJHS will be a great chance to give back to my community, learn new values, and set up a path to future success. Being in the NJHS is imperative to me, and I hope you will consider me for this position because of my great qualities and the work I am willing to put
