Why I Want To Be A Future Mental Health Counselor
Mental health is important at every stage of life, it is from adolescence to adulthood when individuals grow and change significantly. However, I would like to work with adolescents and adults between the ages 10 to 30 years from different racial and ethnic backgrounds. This is often a time when people struggle the most with their identity, their place in society, determining what their future holds, and the pressure that surrounds it all. It is important to have a strong and supportive team when individuals are transitioning from adolescent to adulthood in order to assist with emotional and psychological challenges.
