Why I Want To Be A Fitness Coordinator Essay
The fitness and wellness industry has many different areas of opportunities. The profession that I am choosing to pursue is called a fitness and wellness coordinator, which includes areas of athletic training, exercise physiology, and personal training. The duties that one performs in this profession involves instructing, individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and stretching, developing programs that help patients recover from chronic diseases and improve cardiovascular function, body composition, and flexibility as well as preventing, and treating muscle and bone injuries and illnesses according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook “Fitness Trainers and Instructors”( job duties …show more content…
Every individual I work with will remain healthy and injury free from the knowledge I obtain through my education. My goal short term is to achieve my bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness science so that I have the knowledge in every aspect I will need to be successful in my profession. Medium term goals for me involve getting the dream job after cap and gown ceremony. Long term goals are to provide every client, or patient with enough information that they can live a lifetime with. Motivating the individual in everything they do that evolves around their health. I will encourage those to never give up and practice exactly what I preach.
