Why I Want To Attend College

As most college students prepare to go into a college after high school with no college during high school, they hope to have a good two to four years with the outcome of an education and soon after a job. As for me, my field of education and after college usually always wants more and more educators for the young. When my time is done at in high school and I move to college, I hope to have more beneficial happenings than bad. Soon high school will be over for me, then all I have left is college and to get a job with my major I choose. College at a community college for my first two years would be more helpful for me as it will help with my social skills and getting to know how college actually works all day instead of having just a few in high school. As to be an Elementary Educator, you must have social skills for your peers and students. Public speaking is also going to help myself as I will have to have a new set of students and parents every year. I will have to be able to speak in front of children or even staff and parents for ten months out of the year. As I am a shy person at first I feel as if college will help me not to be and be more outgoing at first. This will be a great social skill when I’m in the
What I learned at community college will hopefully be used when I move to a bigger school and can apply my strengths to new and different people and professors. Hopefully at a university they will be able to help myself out with weaknesses that others could not see or know about. They could also have a different way or trying out the different skills I learned before attending there. I hope to have great relationships with professors and having them give me tips along my college experience. With other classmates, I hope to gain friendships and also have them help and give tips as they will know me on a different level than professors
