Well, when the Taliban took control of the Swat Valley in Pakistan, one girl spoke out. That one brave girl was the author, Malala Yousafzai Malala refused to be silenced by laws and fought for her right to an education and all education for every girl and woman across the world. On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, when she was fifteen, she almost paid the ultimate price. Education has been around ever since the very first people who roam the Earth. Yes, I mean Cavemen, you may have describe them to be “slow” or “dumb” or “the most stupid human beings to have ever lived” But think about this; if it weren’t for those cavemen hunting animals, using leaves from trees to create clothing, inventing the wheel, fire and weapons in order to survive, or evolving in general, we all would have been extinct millions of years ago! Why? Because of starvation, harsh temperatures, animal attacks, just to name a few.
First of all, education increases long term economic, social and personal gain for individuals, families, friends, communities and the development of a nation. How you ask? Well to achieve this there must be a minimum standard of education and enough levels of literacy, numeracy and life skills to enable people to lift themselves out of absolute poverty and start a happier, better life knowing that they are able to provide food, water, shelter, clothing and yes, even education for their families thanks to the hard earn money they received from their full-time jobs. …show more content…
How is education healthy? Imagine a world without medicine and antibiotics. Every living being would not be living very long because of the many untreated diseases and illnesses destroying your body. In fact, any biotic factor would be extinct without medicine. Antibiotics help fight off harmful and some even deadly bacteria inside your body. While a common cold may seem like nothing to make a huge fuss about for most, but to a few, a harmless headache can become extremely life threatening if left unattended.
