Why I Am A Kinesthetic Learner
I think that I am a kinesthetic learner, because I can't sit still for long. I need to move around or I don't learn as well. When I am able to feel and use all my senses I learn better. When I study I will tend to tap my pencil, or I will tap my foot. I am a poor speller, and I use flashcards to study. I learn better when I am able to see things, and I learn better when I move around. I learn by doing something, So I learn by moving, doing, and touching. We also called tactile learners. To conclude these are the ways I study, and what type of learner I

In a recent study, I was able to determine which learning style category I fell into. Three learning style categories were discussed. Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic Learning Styles were presented. The first part of the assessment was to go through three different lists consisting of different habits often associated with learning and studying. I was to read through each list and check off all that applied to my personal study and learning habits. When I was done, I found that I am dominantly a Visual Learner. Some of the characteristics I possess in relation to being a Visual learner are 1) I often ask for instructions to be repeated 2) I like to use maps or note cards when I review my notes 3) The best way for me to remember something is to picture it in my head. These are some…

Before taking the Learning style Quiz I would have told you that I was a visual learner. I am better with written instructions more than I am with verbal. I love when I receive handouts and diagrams. After taking this quiz I have learned that I am more of a kinesthetic learner. I always have to be hands on and doing something. What I mean by this is when I am studying I am either moving in my chair or I am using my finger as a reading guide. I always thought that it was just my ADHD that made me do this but now I have learned that it is a way of learning.…

From the study that I have taken in the text on page 212. It stated that I was mainly and sound type of learner. I can see where they can get this as a results for the study and I do agree that I do some of my learning from hearing what is being said about a task that I am doing, But I would have to say that I do not really agree with the study. I know that I am a visual learner, I do my best work If I have some one to show me what types of things that need to be done for a certain task.…

According to the Vark questionnaire there are five different ways in which a person learns. May it be through visual, auditory, reading/writing, kinesthetic or multimodal approaches. Visual learning is through pictures, photographs, and charts. Auditory learning style is through listening to what is being said. The reading and writing learning approach can be used through taking notes accurately and reading them over and over again. Kinesthetic learning can be used through ones own experience and practice. The last approach being multimodal, which is the more flexible learning style. Multimodal students can change their learning skills according to their surroundings and are able to adapt to different learning strategies. Up to sixty percent of the population fits into the multimodal-learning category (Fleming, 2011).…

I have always found it interesting how everyone can have a different learning style. It does not mean that one person is smarter than the other, and vice versa. Everyone is completely different with how they intake information and their learning skills. My best learning skill is Kinesthetic I am more a “hands on” learner. I have always been more successful and learned better once I actually did something hands on. I can learn verbally, and visual as well but that is my best learning technique.…
