Why Do Schools Have Dress Codes

Today in the United States, almost every school now has a dress code. Many people support the idea of students being able to wear certain kinds of clothes that do not disrupt a learning environed, but others are against it because they say “it stops individuals from expressing themselves”, and they are right but so are the people that support the dress code.

The schools that have a dress code are usually stricter or are private schools. The private schools usually have this because they use uniforms or want to be “unique”. Most people agree with the dress code because it prevents students from wearing “inappropriate” clothes to school, the dress code also helps the school to have a better learning environment. I also agree that there should not be any dress codes because it does not let students express themselves, but I think that dress codes should be enforced to certain limit, because if the dress code is to strong that means that people are basically wearing uniforms, and if there is no dress code people would be wearing clothes that would probably be inappropriate to most of the school.

I think that the best way to solve this common problem is to make dress codes more flexible, People wearing ordinary clothes that expresses themselves and that they feel happy about, not guys sagging and falling while going up the stairs, or girls wearing things that make guy’s think bad.

This is why I agree with both side to a certain limit, so why not combine these two things and make the school and world a better
