Why Do People Really Good At Heart

According to the information collected by the USSR, during World War II, over 11 million people were killed, and countless people lost their rights and freedom for over four years. More than 20 countries were involved in this bloody war. The Nazi’s merciless actions towards the Jewish people captivated the attention of the whole world. The Nazis took the lives of more than six million Jews, including newborn babies and children. This was obviously a cruel operation. However, according to Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl, even in this horrific situation, she still thought that “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” Anne was overly optimistic and hooked by her own lies. Considering her situation and that thousands and thousands of people were being killed every day, this is not a possible fact She tried to cheer herself up by having this opinion, but unfortunately, it is just a lie. There are some people that are good at heart, however, when someone has terminated the lives of others, contemptuous to other cultures, or depriving the rights and freedom of other people, we can not say that this is something a person that is “good at heart” would do. Everyone is on a different path, evil is one of them. Some in the world are not as good hearted as Anne’s expectation. This proves that there are many people who harm and do bad in the world. People could be nice to others at some point.
