Why Do Humans Kill Sloths

Sloths have many predators, like an jaguars and humans, there are many more but we are just going to talk about these. Jaguars are the top predator on the ground. Sloths go down to the forest floor once a week, and when they go they can't protect themselves from jaguars. Humans shoot sloths so they can cut down their homes. When they shoot them they stay hanging in the tree because their claws have such a great grip, and the hunters have to climb the tree just to get the sloth. But in my opinion that is too much work just to kill a harmless creature, because they are eventually going to become extinct if humans keep killing sloths. Humans kill sloths so we can use sloths claws for knives. Some people capture sloths as pets and they aren't used
