Why did I decide to pursue an MBA?
I'm reminded of a quote by the 35th president of the United States, "Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education. The human mind is our fundamental resource." (John F. Kennedy). When I first read this quote, I was reminded of all the sacrifices I have made to insure that my two daughters know the importance of getting a college education and being productive citizens. Now that they are well on their way to achieving their goals, I decided now is the perfect time for me to fulfill my own dreams—of getting my master's and doctorate degrees. I always thought what's the point of going back to school at my age?
