Why Did God Cause The Incarnation?
Reasons for the Incarnation In the beginning, God made humans out of love. Unfortunately, these humans turned away from God and disobeyed him to let sin and pain into the world. God promised future generations that he will send someone special to save us from sin. This was then true when God sent his only Son and was born from Mary. This special moment is known as the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. But why did God cause the Incarnation? There are three reasons that will be discussed in this paper. The three reasons are: to help see and understand God’s love, to be a model of holiness, and to make people partakers of the divine nature.
