Why Athletes Should Be Paid
"If you pay to participate in a sport, the overall quality of the team, equipment, and experience will be better," quote from Murphy Georger. What Georger is saying is that when you pay to participate in a sport everything will be better because the money that people pay to join will be used in a fabulous way. And if he or she pays to participate the money everyone pays can be gathered up and used to help the team succeed. Students should pay to play a school sport because the money can be used to buy good equipment, they can also use the money to pay the coach, and the athletes could use the money to benifit the team. First of all, equipment costs money and it isn't cheap. If you have to pay to participate the money can be used to buy amazng equipment for the athelets to use. The more exsperienced the team or a player is the better they will perform because they already know what to exspect. If the team is a soccer team they could use the money to go to tournaments. Or if they are a speed skating club they could use the money to go to competitions. The athletes could also use the money to go to camps. Sometime when childeren get advice from a new figure it will sink in more. They also have great coachs that the athletes will not be exsposed to if they don't go to a camp so they could use the money to go to tournaments, camps, and competitions . Although some people disagree. As well, some people think that doing club sports should be free. They belive that because some people don't have the money to pay to join. What these people fail to relize is that there are wasy to avoide that. They could set up a scholorship so if he or she can only pay to a little or no part of it they scholorship could help pay for it. The athletes parents could pay a little more so over time they collect enough money to help pay for the kids that have trouble
