Why Are The Articles Of Confederation Bad

The Articles of Confederation held many problem that the people of the U.S. were angry about. With no Bill of Rights in the Articles of Confederation many people were angry that their rights were not protected by anything. Since the states had different currencies this also mde people in the U.S very angry because they could be rich in one state and in the other poor. As well as this making it so that the states couldn't trade. Lastly the government couldn’t tax the people making the United States poor and in heavy debt. To the people of the United States a bill of Rights in a constitution was very important. Without the Bill of Rights in the Articles of Confederation this made the people very mad because their individual rights were not protected by their constitution. Some of the people's individual rights were the freedom of speech, press, or religion. Without the Bill of Rights they were not able to believe in other religions or publish something on a newspaper that was their opinion. This problem was excluded after shay’s rebellion when they were making the new Constitution as well. Without the Bill of Rights is what led to the Federalists vs the Anti-Federalists. With no Bill of Rights in the Articles of Confederation it made many people angry and mad.
This would be bad because if people had to move from Pennsylvania to New York because of war or something else those people could not use their money from Pennsylvania in New York. This could easily make people poor when entering different states. Also trade between the states would never work because if New York wanted to trade their currency to Pennsylvania New York’s currency is worth nothing to a person in pennsylvania meaning that the person in New York won't be able to get what they need from Pennsylvania.This is a very big problem under the Articles of
