Why abortion is good
Abortion.. is it a women 's right or should everyone have the right to life? Many believe that once the baby is alive it is considered murder. However others may believe it is up to the woman if one wants to keep it or not. This has been a topic amongst many arguments around the world and many do not come to a conclusion. It is your right to believe in what you want, so is abortion good or bad? Abortion is the "termination of a pregnancy". So for the anti abortionist this is considered slaughtering the baby. They believe that the fetus is actually a separate human life form. So if one has an abortion it is considered murder. On the other hand, pro abortionists believe that fetus is not dependent on the mother until it is born. The fetus is connected by the placenta, and is only separated at birth, so it is not murder.

The flaws in these arguments are, when do we call a fetus a person? From a religious standpoint they believe that when the fetus arrives it is a person. Most believe when the nervous system is made, because it can feel pain like an abortion. However this stage does not happen until the 6th or 7th month and abortion never occurs after the 24th week.

Abortion is necessary because of the potential of existing circumstances that would be a detriment to the mother or fetus. The mother could be physically, mentally, or emotionally unwell and not capable of being pregnant or having a child without endangering her health; the pregnancy could have possibly been the result of a terrible crime, such as rape or incest; the fetus could be unhealthy and be a danger to the mother 's health. I truly believe that abortion is a good thing if used right. Many people are not ready to have another human in their life and raise it improperly.

In 1987 a study was done to the woman who had abortions, to find out the reason of not keeping the baby. 25.5% wanted to postpone childbearing, 21.3%cannot afford a baby, 14.1% have a relationship problem or partner does not want pregnancy, 12.2% are too young, 10.8% child will disrupt job or education, 7.9% do not want children, 3.3% risk to fetal health, 2.8% risk to maternal health, 2.1% other. Incest and Rape are obviously a valid argument for abortion in my opinion; it is not technically killing someone if they cannot feel pain yet. About half of the pregnancies in the US are due to no protection, so maybe we should have more efficient sex education in school.

It is not fair to think a women would give up their child after having carrying it for 9 months. However when you get an abortion it is not the same at all. The reason the US Supreme Court allowed abortion to be legal was that it was good for women 's mental health to have the choice. Religion does not matter, women of all ages, class, background, rase, have abortion and it will always stay like that.

In conclusion, abortion is a good thing when used properly. It can saves lives and keep your life going on track. Abortion should always be up to the women because men have no idea what it is like. If abortion becomes illegal in the United States there will be casos. Not only does it help the people who cannot raise a child it helps our population. If used properly it is a good thing, however the best way to not have an abortion is abstinence.

    Why Abortion Is Wrong

Although I am against abortion, some believe that it is okay to have an abortion. They believe that if the mother gets rapped then she could abort the child. I think that you should not make the child pay for someone else’s actions. Also they could say that it was okay if the mother “accidentally” got pregnant. Well if the mother made the decision to have intercorse with a male then she can pick up the responsibility of taking care of her child. Others believe that there is no life, just a fetus. The words “embryo” and “fetus” do not refer to a non-living human. They describe a stage of development for the…

Most arguments concerning the abortion issue hinge on the moral status or standing of the fetus with respect to the rights it possesses and the obligations that are directly owed to it. These arguments typically fall into two commonly termed categories: pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life advocates tend to place the status of the fetus first. They argue human beings including a fetus, have an intrinsic value that confers them the right not to be unjustly killed. Conversely, some pro-choice advocates argue the fetus lacks a virtuous characteristic that affords it any rights or significant morals, this is usually termed the 'personhood' argument.…

    Pro-Choice of Abortion

A big controversy throughout the United States is about abortion and whether or not it should be illegal. People who are against abortion are called pro-life. Supporters of abortion are called pro-choice. Both sides have very strong and argumentative points and can even start disputes between friends. A couple of ways that abortion can be seen as a good thing is that nearly all abortions take place within the first trimester of the pregnancy, teenage mothers will most likely not have a good future, and every woman has the right to choose what to do with her own body. I believe that every woman has the right of choice which makes me pro-choice.…

Is Abortion really murder. Give about 266 days after conception and see what emerges from the womb. It will be a human baby, not a horse, a fish or an honey badger. When a human egg and sperm unite, the result is a fetus. Within 3 week you can hear a heartbeat. At 4 weeks you are able to pick out facial features, arms and legs. Nerves and brain waves are in place by eight weeks after conception. At 12 weeks breathing of fluid for oxygen. So is this a fetus or a human? That is still up to interpretation. Legal rights have stepped in but, yet they are broken all the time.…

Recently, I read “Arguments for and Against Abortions” that discussed the history of the abortion debate. I found that there are two major groups who often have heated discussion about their belief on whether abortion is right or wrong choice for women to do. Abortion… one of the most talked about issues in our society today. What is abortion? It involves one terminating a pregnancy by removing or expelling of a fetus or embryo from the uterus. Women and Men often find themselves facing the dilemma of whether or not to end a pregnancy. People have often had differences in opinion about this controversial topic because some feel that it is unethical as it regards to legal, cultural, and religious views. Most people are either all for, or against having the abortion procedure being done they’re very few who are undecided about this issue. There are many high-profile groups two in particular that acclaim either Pro-Life or Pro-Choice. United States pro-life groups feel there should be greater restrictions on abortion or even ban it. They argue that a human fetus is a human being with a right to live, so to them abortion is like murder. In contrast, you have the pro-choice organization that says women have the reproduction rights, to make the choice on whether or not she wants to carry a pregnancy to term. So many questions are raised when it comes to this matter. Is having an abortion is right or wrong? To me abortion is every women's right. Pro-life will argue statement such as abortion is murder, if a woman is willing to have sex, she’s knowingly taking the risk of getting pregnant, and should be responsible for her actions, adoption is a viable alternative to abortion, and rape doesn’t justify an abortion just to name a few.…

First and foremost, abortion allows a woman the right to her own body. Some say that abortion should not be used as a form of contraception, but birth control fails daily. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 6% of all birth controls fail each year. Women on birth control tend to disregard the chance of getting pregnant since the percentage is so low, therefore, the only protection they choose to utilize is the birth control. Women should remain to have the option to abort an undesired fetus. Along with contraception issues, there are other factors to reason with to keep abortion legal.…

One of the most controversial issues today is the topic of abortion. For many years people have been debating over whether abortions should be legal or not. There are two sides to this debate. Those who are pro-choice, do not think that a fetus is a living human being yet with a right to live. They believe it is entirely up to a woman to choose what she does with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). Those people who are pro-life argue otherwise. They believe that abortion is wrong and should be made completely illegal. I am one of them people who are pro-life. Having an abortion is the same as killing another human. It is inhumane, it is a sin,…

Abortion is a heavily debated issue in our country. Many people believe it is immoral and unethical, while some see it as a necessity. Whether the fetus is one or forty-five weeks old, many still see it as murder. At what point of the term of a woman’s pregnancy, is a fetus considered a human being? This issue is still up for further debate. The debate in regards to abortion stems from whether a woman should have the right to end her pregnancy or give birth. I personally do not believe in abortion, however, I also believe it is a woman’s right to make that decision, especially in situations regarding teen pregnancy, financial hardships, rape, and incest. The following paragraphs will describe these circumstances in greater detail, supporting why I support pro choice abortion rights.…
