Who's To Blame For The Fates Of Romeo And Juliet

Romeo and Juliet are to blame for their own fate and the fates of others. They have many choices and they choose all the wrong ones that end in tragedies. Firstly, Romeo is banished from Verona. Juliet’s heart breaks. Meanwhile Lord Capulet tells Juliet that she has to marry Paris. Juliet thinks the only way out is to drink a mixture that Friar gives her. He tells her it will put her into a death like sleep that will fool her parents into thinking she’s dead. Juliet should run away with Romeo. Instead she drinking the mixture. Romeo thinks she is really dead. This leads to Romeo stabbing Paris, thinking Paris is a grave robber, Romeo drinks poison, and Juliet stabs herself. Juliet running away with Romeo would have prevented all this from happening.
