A lot of people say fate and the long-standing family feud is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because of the saying “everything happens for a reason, we may not know the reason now but we will in time.” Some think because of Romeo and Juliet killed them selves even though its tragic also brought some good into it by the family’s coming together in the end, but I have reason to believe that is wrong, yes, fate could have played a small roll in all of this but, if that letter would have made it to Romeo neither on of them would have died and friar was the one who was supposed to deliver the letter to Romeo.
But since the letter never made it to Romeo because the friar was suspected “sick” he couldn’t come into Verona, therefor he couldn’t get the letter to Romeo. I think the nurse went and told the guards that the friar was sick because she had made it clear she didn’t want Juliet to be with Romeo any more instead she wanted Juliet to be with Paris, only because Romeo fought tybalt and Romeo won, tybalt then died after being stabbed with Romeos sword. So the nurse could have set it all up knowing Juliet wasn’t really dead she was only asleep hoping Romeo thought she was dead just like every one else, hoping Romeo would kill himself to be with Juliet, which in fact he did just before Juliet awoke looking for him in the dark family
