He also should have told Lord and Lady Capulet, and Lord and Lady Montague about the marriage so they would know. Then the parents could have put a stop to the wedding with Paris. Another person to blame would be Mercutio. He wanted Romeo to go to the Capulet’s party. If Romeo never went, he probably would have never

Not only the Nurse and Friar Lawrence was at fault for the death of Romeo and Juliet but also Capulet. This is because of his actions towards Juliet and his character. His character changes from being a nice, polite and caring father whereas after the death of Tybalt, he becomes this angry typical type father. Not knowing how Juliet truly feels, he forces her to get married to Paris even though she didn’t want to. He made her feel pressurized and also made her feel scared of what was going to happen next. In the play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare I blame the reason for their tragedy on Friar Laurence. In the play the Friar married Romeo and Juliet to each other and didn’t inform the Capulet's nor the Montague's. The Friar also tried to help Juliet by giving her a sleeping potion so she wouldn’t have to marry Paris. He also failed to deliver the letter to Romeo saying that Romeo didn’t die, but she was in fact sleeping. “I could not send it here it is again nor get a messenger to bring it thee so fearful were they of infection” (Shakespeare 470). Lastly the Friar had blamed the two lover's death of Romeo and Juliet when both the Capulet's and Montague's had heard of there passings.…

In the play, Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, many characters could take responsibility for the deaths of the young lovers, but who is ultimately to blame? In my opinion, Romeo is the main cause of their deaths. He rushed into marriage without thinking ahead as to what they would do or tell their rival families.
