Who Inspire Me
#6 Who inspires me I feel that the world inspires me because anything negative encourages me to be positive. When I see people doing good as young adults it motivates me to be better and to focus on what’s important my life. I have family members like my mother, father etc that inspires me because everyone feel as if I’m not capable to do anything with my life or myself. After being around that negative energy it makes me feel as if they are telling the truth. I want to prove myself wrong and not believe in what they’re saying because it’s always thrown at me when I’m round them. For my parents, I want them to be proud of me for becoming my dream. I want to show them that raising me wasn’t a waste of time or energy. I admire people who are in college because I as a little girl I wanted to experience the life style being in college. My life has came to the point where I’m ready to make and show changes to myself. I have goals that I go by on a daily and monthly routine. When I’m really commited to my goals, I achieve them. Now that I’m graduating from Garrison Global academy, I feel like everything is in the right track. I will come across some challenges, but as long as I have faith in God he will provide, and keep me strong so I can stay focus. I will succeed.

At some point we all wish to be recognized as something bigger - something that no one has witnessed before. We have a need for appreciation. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to accomplish great things. I’ve hit setbacks in school and at home, but I’ve never let them break me. Even when I was little, whenever I received a good grade on an assignment or test, I would rush home to call my mom and dad to tell them. Seeing that look in their eyes that says “I’m so proud to call you mine.” Thats what…

Throughout my entire life, I have found that hard work and dedication can help me achieve any goal that I set. I have overcome the separation and lack of decent parents, incarceration of my oldest brother, and many other events with the morals and skills that were taught to me by my grandparents (who are my legal guardians). Due to their influence and love, I have always put my best foot forward and looked at the world with optimism. Since the second grade, I have been in gifted/honor courses, exceeded through my classes, and have made many friends. My backbone does not consist of selfish desires or influences; it consists of my morals and the family and friends that I do have pushing me to change the world.…

Many people in my life have prepared me for my future and have taught me how to handle any obstacle thrown my way. My parents have inspired me to never settle for anything but the best, and have taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. Both of my parents came from families without a strong financial basis or a stronghold of people who believed that they could excel; moreover, this led my parents to becoming doctors and providing support in every aspect for my sister and I. My parents’ determination has led to my belief in the veracious message: nothing is going to be handed to you because you must work to make something happen. As I have gotten older and realize the little time I have left sheltered by my parents, this idea has prepared me for the real world due to the fact that I know not to take anything for granted, but to work for what I want to accomplish in life.…

It was mostly teachers who inspired me to keep going, even though the situation at home kept getting tougher. Fortunately, by the fifth grade my parents were able to rent an apartment nearby our school and had found jobs in multiple Brownsville restaurants. After the move, things became much easier and we were able to have a much simpler life, though we were never able to forget the hardships we experienced and the effort we put into enhancing our lives. Today, I am sure my successes as of now are gratifying my parents as I am in the top 10% of my class, the Co-Captain of the Golden Stars Dance Team, member of the National Honor Society, Piano Club, HOSA, and in TRIO UTRGV talent search program. I attend rigorous AP classes to improve my opportunity to attend a university and have the finest future I can give myself. Although my triumphs may not look like much to most, I can assertively say that the trial of going through difficulty to have a superior future has been overcome with the comfort of focus, strength, and the right set of mind to build a better tomorrow for my family and…

When people ask me “What are you going to do after high school?” I proudly say “I’m joining the U.S. Air Force” but if you asked me that question 6 years ago, I would of said something crazy as “I want to be the president of the United States!” We all had that dream when we were younger, remember? The world I come from was shaped by a generation who believes that my generation and I have this inevitable fate of failure. Throughout the last seventeen years of my life I can't count the number of times I’ve heard that I don't and never will know what I want to do in my lifetime. I believed that if I had a positive outlook on myself as an individual, I would be able to succeed through any dilemma I faced throughout life. After realizing that I was a senior in high school and time was passing me by, I brought myself back to reality. My college counselor also stressed the importance of my grades, especially to be eligible for scholarships. Since seniors needed three hundred hours of community service to graduate from Metro high school, she made sure that I still devoted myself to service. I had to become a responsible young adult by learning time management. I believed in my goals and I promised myself that I would not regret trying. I stressed that failure was not an option. I became closer to the finish line everyday and I prayed for dedication to reach it. During this time, I learned to put my education first before anything. This was not just an obstacle, but it was a lesson learned. During college I know that there will be distractions, obstacles, and hard times, but it is up to myself to continue to strive for the finish line, and I…
