Where I Find My Hero's Analysis
In the story Where I find My Hero's by Oliver Stone's he says “It's not true that there are not heros anymore but it's true that my own concept of heroism has changed radically over time”(63). This shows that over time the definition of heroism has changed now it might be about making the right decisions in life and not making a difference for the whole country and maybe just making a difference for yourself. A hero is someone that is brave and inspiring to other people. Malala was a very inspiring and brave person she stood up to people that wanted to hurt her and she was not afraid. The function of a hero is to help people or save people. We read a story and it was about a soldier who lost his arm in a war and how he gets through life he is hero from not giving up like a lot of people would have done and learning to accept his loss and move. “Where the arm got torn off a wing grew”(18).

We saw an example of this in the man in the well. Kids were playing outside and heard yells from a well and ran over to see there was a man inside who asked for there help but the kids kept lying and never got help and just left the man there. "No, we couldn't find one"(4 Sher). The kids said they went to look for a ladder but they never looked they just said they did to play around with his mind. A hero would not manipulate a mind like they did in the video a hero would go and find help immediately and not just lie to the man. Over all a hero helps people. An example from an article is "To be honest, we might not have the best baseball team around, but we sure do have a great group of guys" (2 Sawyer). This shows that you don't have to be the best baseball or any sports player to be a hero you just have to be willing to help anyone at anytime. A hero would never take advantage or be mean to someone instead they are brave and inspiring

The true definition of a true hero is very dense and requires some deep analysis. As eloquently stated by American tennis player, Arthur Ashe, “True heroism is remarkably sober – very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost." (Dilbeck). Any person who has the urge within them to serve others, do good, inspire, and demonstrate moral excellence deserve a title as a hero to mankind, and many types of people can be described as having this character. There are very many different types of heroes in the world and millions of them – the one, dominant thing that they all have in common is moral excellence.…
