When We Were Built To Stand Out
Why were we created?
I believe we were created to stand out and be different.
As DR. Seuss said WHY FIT IN WHEN YOU WERE BORN TO STAND OUT. The quote by DR. Seuss means that you must always be yourself. You should not change who you are for anyone else. Everyone is unique in their own way. We were all born to stand out in our unique way. It’s very easy to fit in so we do what everyone else does and gets what everyone else gets. Standing out like someone has a standout performance.
The definition of fitting in to belong or conform to something. To be compatible or adjust to new surroundings.
A girl went to a new school one day where she tried to fit in but after five years there she never ever fitted into the school. She was always teased for who she was and she was very unhappy and miserable at school. The circumstances become so bad it affected …show more content…
If we all tried to fit in the world would be a very boring place. We were all brought to the world to serve a certain purpose.
Fitting in is like not belonging. Fitting in is ultimate an obstacle. You twist yourself into a human pretzel so people will hang out with you. Belonging is showing up and letting yourself be seen and known as you really are. Many people are different. When we try to be accepted into a group without being accepted for who we actually are, we don’t allow people to know who we actually are and congruent living is soul-sucking.
Dr. Susan Biali’s journey though life. Dr. Biali never fitted in because she was too clever and weird. She was too much of a "goody two shoes" in high school and she didn’t wear the right clothes. In medical school she was different from the other students. She felt weird in comparison to the other medical students. She couldn’t tell her patients she would rather be dancing. She believed she was not normal but as she went through life she was happy she was not normal. You need a lot of energy to try to fit
