"When my love swears she is made of truth" (Shakespeare)

Marriage is a wonderful and joyous experience. When two people get married they join hands in holy matrimony. Sometimes marriages aren't as thrilling as they might initially seem to be. Many marriages recently have ended up in divorce because of one partner or both partners betraying each other. There are times that a partner has been betrayed but still stays with the betrayer because of kids that they had together. Many times older men choose to marry younger women because it is flattering to them. The women can take advantage of that and sleep around if she chooses to do so. This is shown in Shakespeare's "When my love swears she is made of truth."

Lying, cheating, and betraying partners are all still occurring in life today. For example, I work at Ellie's Deli with a lady named Beth. She was married to a man named Tony who was 16 years younger then her. She was cheating on him. Then, when he found out, he burned her house down. Although Tony took action on Beth once he found out the bad news, others choose to deal with knowing their younger female partner is sleeping around because as long as they are together, the man feels young and alive. It's very frequent that an older man looks for, dates, and marries a younger woman. Knowing she will most likely and up cheating on him.

Another example I saw of cheating occurring but the spouses stayed together was on a lifetime movie called "Lies and Betrayals." Once again it was an older man married to a younger woman. He suspected she was sleeping around so, he hired a private investigator. It turns out she was sleeping around, but he decided to let it happen mostly because he loved her despite the fact, and also because they had three kids and he didn't want them to have to deal with a messy divorce. Also, she made him feel very special and young and he mainly loved everything about her.
