Whataburger Calories Research Paper
Have you ever wondered how many calories and fat you take in a day from a fast food restaurant? Well I wanted to find out how many calories and fat I would take in from Whataburger. Whataburger has been opened since the 1950’s. The results of seeing how many calories and fats were really bad, and I’m happy I haven’t eaten there before. There are three reasons why Whataburger is not a good place to eat, there are a lot of fats, there are many calories, and are not a growing fast food restaurant. Whataburger have 735 restaurants and is opened 24/7. These might be some good things about Whataburger, but there are many bad things. Out of 735 restaurants there are only 29 cities. That is just not normal. Although they are opened 24/7, it just needs more people to help, and make them tired of people who work their have to do it everyday. …show more content…
We should only take in 44-78 grams of fat a day. Whataburgers Chop House Cheddar Burger has 69 grams of fat. Also, Whataburgers Monterey Melt has 68 grams of fat. This one burger could be your whole meal for the day. Second, Whataburger has too many calories. We should only take in 2,000 calories a day. All of the burgers have 300 to 1100 calories in just the burgers. The Triple Meat Whataburger has 1080 calories. Again, just like fats, calories in one meal is all you should take a day. This isn’t even counting fries, drink or any extra stuff. It's amazing how you don’t even know how much calories you are taking in. Finally, Whataburger are not a growing restaurant. Whataburger is in only 10 states. This is not good business if you want everyone to know about your restaurant. Whataburger has 735 restaurants in 29 cities. You might think that this is an accomplishment, but to me this a disappointment. This just shows that Whataburger isn’t as big of a restaurant as they want to be, so they stay in the same

    I have selected these food choices from Wendy’s menu as I feel the healthiest for a sound meal. The meal contains a total of 660 calories, total fat 21.5 grams, cholst 45, sodium 385 mg, carbs 70g, fiber 5g, sugar 51g, and protein 15g. The information above how the count of nutritional values shows to be enough calories per meal based on 2000 calorie diet. Total count may be a little high but not too much to consume but making sure this limit is low considering the link between fat and heart disease. Cholesterol number is ok but the sodium count is high this could be a concern down the road for high sodium count could lead to high blood pressure and unstable cholesterol levels. Carbs being at 70 grams is not to much and 5 grams of fiber is the amount. 51 grams of sugar is to high but considering other choices this is lowest possible and with the high count of sugar links to depression and obesity have been cited.
