WHAT SHOULD SOCIETY DO TO HELP WOMEN BALANCE WORK AND FAMILY? It is quite obvious that balancing work with family is an extremely difficult task for women nowadays. Perhaps the middle-class women give more importance to their family than money. On the contrary, the upper class women spend the most of the time working. Nevertheless, who has it hardest are single mothers and mothers whose children have special needs. The aim of this essay is give my own solutions on how society could help women balance work and family. I’m going to structure this text in two sections: the help of the others and set priorities. It might explain my purpose. On the one hand, ask for help from the others. From my point of view family should be an important support. But not only family also friends and they should even tell this situation at work too. Women must build a support network in order to improve their lives. They would reduce worries and stress. In this way, they will be able to enjoy of their own lives. On the other hand and for the same reason, women have to set priorities and establish schedules. In fact, decreasing the amount of hours they are working is an option to spend more time with family. For instance, when I was young my mother had a part-time job. Because of this, she could be all the afternoons with me and my brother. Definitely, women should lean on people around them. No matter if they are their family or their friends… Also, organize their time to get full advantage. As we can read, there are a number of important changes which need to be made by women. There is no a single formula for attaining a balanced life. In conclusion, every woman should analyze their personal situation, after to act accordingly.
