What It Means To Be A Well Educated Adult
I would be willing to fight for my education if it would be taken away from me because I would be a well educated adult with it. Education is a big part of my life because it helps you understand stuff that will come to you when you are a adult and after you graduate from college or university.
My first reason is, Education will make you and I a well educated adult when you grow up. People do not understand things when they are adults because they did not have a very good education. If you have education you will have a lot better life than others that suffer because they are not that well educated to get better jobs such as doctors, engineers and other important jobs that are good. I would go would maybe go on CNN and do a live broadcast to

An example is that if you have to vote and you don’t know which one is better you can study about them or use your own knowledge to find out which one suits you the best or whoever you think in your opinion is better. I would gather people that would want to stand up and fight for education with for a peaceful protest to keep education and don’t get rid of it. and Peaceful is better because then people will actually pay attention to you because if you are destroying stuff people are going to think that you are crazy, so that's why I would do a peaceful protest.
In fact, Education will help you understand hard things in your life like how to do your job and how to get a job in your adult life. I would write letters to the government and President of the United states and it would say that education should be kept in the U.S.A because everyone and even adults will suffer because we wouldn’t be educated, so you could say smart to but we wouldn’t be smart and the kids would be uneducated adults when they grow up and that will lead to the kids when they are old and the would not be able to understand hard things in their three adult

Everyone in the US is required to go to school until they turn 16 and then they can drop out, but is dropping out the best idea considering the low income the student would get? Even if student get a high school degree, is college that bad to where you can’t go even though the benefits are thousands of more dollars, more job opportunities, and also helping the country’s economy. In the article “What Does It Mean to Be Well-Educated”, the author Alfie Kohn discusses the wide meaning of well-educated and breaks it down in terms of academics and common knowledge. Kohn states in the article that there are many people in the world who do have brilliant ideas, but do not necessarily know how to put them down using correct grammar skills. The author firstly addresses that education is not always first priority, that the main target towards education is to create good and creative people. Kohn states that the meaning towards well-educated is not critiqued as what you know and what you have learned, but what type of teaching methods you were given. Also stated was that test scores display people who are smart, but yet do not…

In the article “What Does It Mean to Be Well-Educated” Mr. Kohn point out 6 points on being educated. Point 1.The Point of Schooling. (Nel Noddings the professor emerita at Stanford University, urges us to reject “the deadly notion that the schools’ first priority should be intellectual development” and contends that “the main aim of education should be to produce competent, caring, loving, and lovable people.”) I like this quote on the purposes of education. Education brings freedom to any individual mind who is trap from the cruel circumstances a person faces. The best example is Fredrick Douglas who used education to escape slavery. Education can make the world a better place to live in, which it can bring an end to poverty, end to racism, end of wars, and end life threating diseases. Education is the most important part of my life. Couple reasons why I attend college it’s to better myself, get a higher paying job and get away from home. First, not going to college was not an option for me; furthermore, both of my parents attended college and graduated college and they have the jobs they always wanted. They always encouraged me to get a higher education and I agree. When I see people that struggle with finances because they didn’t go to college; certainly, it made me want to go and get my bachelor’s degree even faster. Second, I do not want to live my life, paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether or not I am going to have enough money to pay to keep a roof over my head. The reason for going to college is that I want to have a better life. Finally, college is vital to how far you can go. If I would settle only for a High school diploma or less, I would not go as far as I want to go; I will keep hopping from one dead-end job to another; for instance, my friend who have worked everywhere and is never happy because of the hard work she has to do and little money she gets. I would want to be more as a college graduate who is at home relaxing in my huge house, watching my sixty-four inch Plasma TV in High Definition. I believe that college will lead me to a life of fulfillment and realized dreams. No one ever regretted going to college, I wish I could say the same for the person who…
