The Entrancing life of Zeus the God of the Sky Have you ever wondered what it would be like as Zeus in the Ancient Greece. I mean he was the god above all other gods and goddess. He has had many triumphs, but has also had some failures along the may also. Zeus is one of the most powerful gods, he had a strange family life when he was a child, and has many symbols that are well known for him throughout his life. Zeus had a strange family life as a child. He was the youngest of six. Every time his mother and father would have a child, Cronus the father of Zeus would swallow them whole. Zeus also had many symbols that were thought of to fit his personality. One was a wolf because was the guardian of Mount Olympus and kept them in a pact just like wolves stay in their own pact . Then there is the thunderbolt which was given to him by the Cyclops to go into battle with his father Cronus which he came out of that battle victorious it meant that he was so powerful after he defeated Cronus his brother Hades and Poseidon drew lots with Zeus to see who would rule over what and that’s how Hades got the underworld, Poseidon got the sea and Zeus got to be the ruler over the heavens.
