What is the relevance of chemistry to a biology course?‏

Chemical principles are important in modern cell biology because all living cells are made up of chemicals and many chemical processes occur in various living organisms. Chemistry is the one science in which all the other sciences are based. In biology you learn about living organisms and their composition. Organisms are alive because of chemistry - Why we breathe oxygen, how we make energy, elimination of waste products, cellular respiration, etc. All of these are based on how living organisms use chemistry to live. Biological organisms have chemical compositions. Carbon is found in all living organisms. After that, because there are many chemical processes occuring in various living organisms(biochemical processes)like digestion,DNA replication etc which cannot be understood without study of chemistry.How would you explain how muscles contract,get their energy,repair,atrophy or enlarge.Without some kind of basic understaning of Chemistry ? You can't explain any of those pheomenon whithout some Chemistry knowlege. Or digestion or anything in the living world. Even in Astronomy. You need to understand some Chemistry. Chemistry is supposed to be a central Science. For example, it is like you know how to write but you dont have the tools to write... Chemistry is related to biology because underlying biology is chemistry. Chemistry makes up the components of hormones and neurochemicals.. Without chemistry, scientists won't find any medicine or cure for diseases .Chemistry is the one science in which all other sciences are based. In biology you learn about living organisms. Plus with chemistry you can understand metabolism and even
